Matt Jones was born in Fort Worth TX on December 23rd.
He currently resides in Aledo, Texas. When not singing with KingsRiver, he leads worship at Heritage Baptist church in Benbrook, TX, and can be found singing at retirement centers in the DFW Metroplex.
Matt was saved at the age of 12 after attending WBYC (World Baptist Youth Conference) in Arlington, Texas.
Growing up with a family of musicians and attending Southern Gospel Concerts with his mom made it very easy for Matt to love music and fostered his desire to one day sing in a group.
Matt joined KingsRiver as the bass guitarist, and when presented the opportunity to sing with KingsRiver, he began to realize his dream. Matt feels that he is called to sing and share the gospel through singing whenever and wherever the Lord gives the opportunity.
